For this original acrylic painting of roses, I used sponging and brush techniques for both dulled and vibrant colours. This was painted on a 5x7 inch canvas board, coated in an isolation coat with a glossy sheen, and can be framed.
Inspired by a peaceful rose garden that you might visit at dusk to gather your thoughts. All four roses are made with various layers of acrylic paint to create depth and a slight texture. The stems and leaves are painted with impressionist shading, adding some complexity to this piece.

This painting only shows two sunflowers instead of a saturation, this is to not put too much emphasis on the sunflowers alone, but also to take note of the colours and forms occupying the spaces around them.
